I found a new girlfriend and then we broke up but we are still friends. she loves biology. we found a beetle outside the coffee shop this morning and he was missing an extension of his front right appendage (its an ox beetle by the way.) If it lives I told her I want to keep it as a pet. if not then its an art project. Im putting a peg leg on him and painting him with a skull and crossbones. we'll see how hard carapaces and assorted insectia are to find in decaying forms but i'd like to sell them painted if i can. sounds like fun if nothing else
